How to prepare for your Personal Color Analysis
Where to Go:
All appointments take place at my studio:
400 Sugartree Ln, Suite 410, Franklin, TN 37064 Click for MapParking: Plenty available
Appointment Length: About 3 hours (color analysis, makeup/clothing review, harmonizing practice, optional photos).
Arrival:
If traveling from out of town and arrive early, nearby coffee and food options are available.
If you’re 30+ minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Guests: Because of space constraints, guests are not allowed.
What to Wear:
Please arrive without:
Makeup
Sunscreen
Moisturizer or lip balm (they affect light reflection)
If you must arrive with anything on your face, you’ll need to remove it before draping.
Makeup wipes or micellar water are available.
You may bring your makeup and/or moisturizer/sunscreen to reapply moisturizer after your analysis.
If you have dry skin, try applying moisturizer the night before and skip washing your face in the morning.
Avoid self-tanner or bronzing products on the face and neck for 1 month prior. Avoid bronzing or glow drops for 2 weeks prior.
Vitamin C users:
Some L-ascorbic acid serums can temporarily darken skin.
Discontinue 1–2 weeks before if you’ve noticed this effect.
Lash extensions: Fine to keep, but it’s ideal if you are between fills or are without them.
Clothing tips:
Avoid tops with large collars, turtlenecks, or hoodies.
Bring a ponytail holder or headband for draping. I also have some new ones on-hand.
Wear glasses or contacts?
Wear contacts if possible (avoid colored/patterned lenses).
If you need glasses to see, we can work around them.
