Which Swatchbooks Do You Use?
I use swatchbooks from NDU Colors (Natural Design United).
Their palettes offer exceptional color harmony with clear, distinct tones for each season.
NDU swatchbooks are produced in the United States using high-quality, archival canvas.
Which drapes do you use?
I use the NDU Colors (Natural Design United) drapes, which are all matte broadcloth.
As a fun, extra touch, International Image Institute seasonal and flow flags & drapes are shown after the analysis is completed using NDU drapes.
I’m adding variety drapes for each season on an on-going basis.
Do You Use Special Lighting?
Yes — I use full-spectrum lighting to create a neutral, accurate environment for your analysis.
A neutral gray backdrop ensures no background colors influence the draping results.
I wear a neutral gray coat so my clothing doesn’t affect your perception of the colors.
During the draping process, you’ll wear a neutral gray cape and bonnet to eliminate any color interference from your clothing or hair.
Can My Friend and I Get An Analysis Together?
Yes! I offer sessions for 2 - best friends, sisters, mother & daughter, husband & wife, etc. Click here for details.
Can I Bring My Child with Me?
Children cannot be accommodated, as the studio is not child-proofed, and the analysis requires focused attention.
I encourage you to treat your PCA session as dedicated time just for you.
Do You Drape Children?
I am happy to drape children with a parent present. Contact me for pricing.
Please ensure your child is interested and able to sit patiently during the analysis.
Do You Offer Abbreviated Sessions for Groups?
I do demonstrate the analysis process with “mini-sessions” outside the studio setting for smaller groups. Contact me for details.
Can I Get a PCA If I Have Rosacea, Melasma, Acne, Dark Circles, Scars, Hyperpigmentation, or Wrinkles?
Yes — absolutely! These skin variations are completely normal.
They can actually help during draping, since certain colors may:
Make wrinkles appear deeper
Intensify rosacea
Make acne or scars look more irritated
Darken shadows around the eyes
Cause hyperpigmentation/melasma to appear patchy or intensified
Your best season won’t erase these features, but it will minimize them and shift attention to your eyes and the overall harmony of your face.
Do you offer shopping/consultation services?
Yes, I do! Click here to explore shopping consultation options for makeup, clothing, and all color-related topics.
